All hail Jersey Mikes! I didn't realize this was a chain, but I don't care, their subs are goooooood. I especially like the tuna sub "mike's way" which is basically some oil & vinegar plus some herbs. It really adds a lot. I've also had the chicken caesar wrap and the ham & cheese melt wrap w/ the chipotle mayo and they're wicked good too. Also, the staff is really nice and will give you suggestions on anything if you ask for it. Overall best place I've ever been to for a wrap or sub. Check it out.

Haven't had a bad experience there yet. Always fast, staff is very friendly, and deli meats are delicious.

Great subs, the meats sliced fresh for each sandwich and it's made right in front of you. Decided to stop in because I've been by a few times and the original Italian is great, the roast beef and provolone is just as good. Ordering ahead makes it easier but the staff is friendly so waiting isn't all that bad.

Amazing! My boyfriend and I had never been to Jersey Mikes before. We stopped in for lunch and were shocked to see they cut the meat right there! They were able to make substitutions from the menu no problem. I had my sub "mikes way." It was delicious! My boyfriend was blown away by how good it was--and things don't easily wow him! It must wow everyone because by the time we were leaving the line was out the door! A bit on the pricey side--20 dollars for two meals...but hey, it's fresh and a lot better than subway.

Kameron S.
Pick this place over Subway ANY day! Their bread is fresh and delicious and they cut the deli meat and cheese to order. I love their turkey and provolone and another favorite there is the Italian. The sandwiches are big so save money and get one large one to share!

When it comes to chain deli's Jersey Mike's has a touch of a mom of pop. Subway and Quizno's will leave you flat and craving the mountains of butchered animal carcass that only Mike can deliver. I suggest the sub delivered directly unto us from the God's only known as the "Club Supreme".
(5)
Shawn P.
A thousand times better than Subway!! They cut whichever meat you want right there when you order. The other ingredients are always fresh too. They offer a variety of subs from hot to cold that are both amazing. Each one is built/cooked in front of you. The employees are friendly too. I work across the street && whenever I come in I am greeted with a smile. They seem genuinely happy to be there

Great sandwiches. Good selection. Average prices. More than I expected from a chain restaurant - I felt more like I was at a little hole-in-the-wall local place. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

I grew up at the Jersey shore so I have always been partial to Jersey Mikes. #13 Italian, Mike's way! Then I discovered one moved into my hometown of Parker, CO. But then I moved to Providence and was really craving their Philly Cheesesteak. So I looked on YELP and sure enough! It's only 10 minutes away! Thank God for Jersey Mikes. The bread is the softest, tenderest bread you can buy!
(5)
Laura L.
Soooooooooo good. I sometimes miss living in the area only because Jersey Mike's was so convenient. The bread is delicious, the meats are freshly sliced as your order, and the portions are ridiculous. Hands down the best turkey & swiss (with tomato, mayo, salt, pepper, and oregano) that I've ever had.
(4)
Brian F.
This is my favorite sub shop. You pay just a little more than subway or d'angello but there is no comparison to the amount of meat they pack into your sandwich. I love the way they slice the meat in front of you. Try it "Mike's Way"

Big Kahuna cheese steak is lights out. Incredible. Freshest cold cuts in town too. Subway is child's play!

Jersey Mike's Subs is the absolute jackpot for lunch. There are not many reviews on here (yet!!) but they were all 5 stars...and I can absolutely see why. The counter is set up like a deli, everything waiting to be fresh sliced just fro your order. The bread is fresh baked and dropped off in the morning, and anything pre-made (ie, tuna & chicken salads) is always tasty. All subs come 'Mikes Way', which includes vinegar and oils amongst other toppings. I don't know where vinegar has been all my life, but it is simply amazing.

Now I am not the biggest steak 'n cheese fan, so I don't have much to compare to. But I am a big Jersey Mike's fan. I heard about this place from a friend and then I went for lunch in between classes. They have something called a Chipotle Steak and Cheese which is amazing. Just thinking about it makes me want one. If I were to think of all the sandwiches i've ever eaten this would definitely be top 5. Inside is nice, and I've never seen it crowded. Everything looks very clean. One thing that earned huge points for me was the service. Everyone i've seen in here is very nice. When me and my friends put our order in we sat and waited and then someone came over and hand delivered our subs and said "here ya go boys, enjoy". It may seem small but I like stuff like that. Random obscure obervations -Tv inside with Sportscenter on -Pepsi products -They carry chips -Bathroom is nice enough to use -Free refills -Enough parking -Food is made quick (faster than Papa Ginos makes their Steak and cheese)

I have been eating at this place for almost 8 years. The staff are all very friendly and the subs are excellent. Their large subs are enough for two meals for most people. I am a big fan of their meatball subs and their chicken cheesesteak subs. Subway doesn't hold a candle to these guys. Check them out. You wont be disappointed.

If you're looking for a great, fresh sub, you've come to the right place. Jersey Mike's slices the deli meat right in front of you, so you know it's going to taste right. They make the sandwiches the way you want them. You'll just be surprised at the difference in taste in comparison to some other chain sub shops.

I would not normally take the time to review a chain establishment... because in my opinion (being a former small restaurant owner) they have no soul. But, like usual I end up eating my words. I would like to preface this by saying the best sub place in RI is by far Pawtucket House of Pizza, but now living in N, Providence, it is too out of the way for a quick bite. So in comes Jersey Mikes. I walked in expecting the usually Subway type blah.. but it wasn't. Fresh baked bread, meats (cooked in house) and sliced to order.. for each sandwich.. no cold cuts that have been pre sliced at some giant factory and sat around for who know how long... and fresh looking toppings.... the best being a delicious and spicey red pepper relish. I have had a number of subs from here.. my favs are the steak and cheese with chipotle mayo and jalapenos.. so good... the roast beef is tasty, and of course the italian with red pepper relish is legit. So.. stop in grab a sub and enjoy. Oh, and the staff is great, and the place is always spotless. Every time I have been there, the same guy is working.. and I get the sense that he cares.. hes proud of the sandwiches they are putting out. and it comes through in the sandwich.. sounds corny, but it makes a difference. 4 stars easy.

I've been eating here for years & have always been satisfied. Recently my opinion has definitely changed. There used to be the same two workers always on every time I've eaten there, but they have not been there for quite some time and I'm really not fond of the newbies that have taken over for them. My review on their product alone would be high, they have quality subs w/quality meats. But this review is on the uncleanliness of the staff. Honestly, I had to write this review because of how disgusted I was on my last visit and I don't want people to get sick. There was a line of maybe 3 or 4 customers and the guy who was originally making sandwiches when I first walked in, had to tend the register and he was wearing only one glove. I work in the hospitality industry so I pick up on the details.. He never took off this clear rubber glove, he actually kept this glove on while he rang out the customers. After he rang some customers out, he then returned to start making sandwiches again. I then watched him put one glove on, he never changed the glove that he already had on! The glove that had just touched dirty, filthy money. I was totally shocked and disgusted! My bf who I was with actually ordered a sub because clearly he didn't notice what I had..and when he asked what I was going to have, I said politely "nothing I'm not to hungry anymore." We paid and left, I told my bf what had happened & we threw that sub in the garbage! I'm totally disgusted and will not eat here until I know conditions & employees have changed. It's not worth getting sick.

Just awesome. Take subway, do everything the opposite way (no pun intended) and you have Mikes from Jersey. Some really novel ideas here: Slice the meats fresh, slice the veggies all thin and stringy to get the flavor, keep the bacon crispy (subway listen up) and all the while hope your customer enjoys their sandwich. Wow rocket science! Nope just how you should make a great sandwich. Been here about 5 times, hope to go 5 more. Tip: a regular size sub is plenty, a mini just enough for lunch. A giant, well you have leftovers (maybe I should get the giant on second thought). This place gets a "go" "now" seal of approval.
(5)
R. R.
Their sandwiches are pretty solid! Our go tos are Italian, chipotle philly cheese steak, and we just discovered the meatball. Italian is pretty good. Fresh deli meats. Chipotle cheese steak is very good, but eat it quickly because the sauce soaks through the bread. Now the meatball... I would never order a meatball sub, but was feeling adventurous. It's 100% beef and the meat is so soft. These are probably by far one of the best meatballs I have ever had. So much so that's bf always gets the chipotle cheese steak and he went on a random day to get the meatball.
(5)
Charlene F.
Ok, so I can only speak to the Italian sub as that's all I've had from here..that being said, $15 & change for one "giant" sub with no drink and no chips...just a sandwich with cheese & cold cuts. I could go to dinner for that price. Waaaaay overpriced. So the medium at $8 and change is a half a sandwich. You've got to be kidding me. Ok, astronomical price aside...the sandwich: it's ok but nothing amazing. Bread was good not stale but not soft. I might give a steak sandwich a try when I can save enough money to afford it.

I came into Jersey Mike's for my first time after getting my nails done next door. Upon walking in the majority of the staff was in the back room and were chatting amongst themselves. I waited a bit, and 1 person out of the 4 came out. I ordered a small turkey and cheese with lettuce, pickles, and tomato. They sliced the turkey in front of me, which was pretty cool as that typically doesn't happen when you visit other sub places. The person who came out to help me was still trying to be involved in the convo in the back so as opposed to listening to me, he decided to continue chiming in on the convo. The sub was ok, but tasted a little off. I'm not sure if they were wiping the meat slicer with a less than clean rag or if it was the pickles... but not as tasty or fresh as i expected. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't the best i've ever had. The service definitely left a lot to be desired...

Tried it once with a small group out of desperation. This is a mega-chain serving flavorless meats on bread that was made from old RIPTA seat cushions. They make a big deal out of slicing the meat. How slicing meat that's 70% water can have an effect on the flavor makes no f*cking sense. The meatball sub (which is blander than the worst meatloaf you've ever had) is heated in a friggin microwave. Nice. This is a place that's great for folks who are tired of Subway. For anyone who knows what an actual Hot Italian Grinda is, RUN AWAY.

Love this place!!! Won't go to any other chain sandwich place now that I've had mikes. Bread is fresh and so is the meats. Everything is made to order and not microwaved like other places. Menu is smaller compared to subways and J's but pretty much everything on the menu is great. The Italian is amazing and love the oil and spices they put on. The chipotle cheesesteak is also really good and the steak is very tasty Nd was made to order! Went in on a busy night that they were short staffed and was impressed how fast and efficient they were as well as friendly. Just a tip get a regular size it's plenty big and the large is HUGE

Great sub shop making sandwiches right. I stopped in for a quick dinner and left with a killer Italian sub. Everything is fresh and the meat and cheese is cut to order. The bread, and toppings are fresh and they don't skimp on anything. It can get a little busy, but the line moves fast and the sandwiches are worth it.

Alright, so I've passed by this place for YEARS. But I've never exactly checked this place out. I mean, it's a CHAIN sandwich place. How great can it be? Boy was I wrong. I came by around lunch time. Which seemed like the peak hours for this place. There were a descent amount of customers sitting in and ordering out. The decor was unremarkable with white walls high ceilings and splashes of red and blue from their "Jersey Mike's" logo. The service was quick, efficient while still maintaining friendly and attentive service. But what really made this experience four stars worthy is their filling out-of-this-world big kahuna cheese steak with jalapeños on a large soft sub bread. They even have freshly sliced (in front of you) cold cut deli sandwiches! Now that I know that this near by sandwich shoppe is actually pretty delicious. I'll definitely be making stops here more often!
(4)
Mark S.
I have found the thing to order here - roast beef! They cook their own so it's not some salty, grisly meat. It's lean, fresh and delicious! My go to is a giant roast beef with mayo, lettuce, and tomato on wheat. It's big enough to get 2 meals out of it. I still always try and go during non peak hours because it can take a while and be pretty hectic. Service is always friendly.

Always fabulous. Very fresh. Friendly! I love to call in my orders. Ask about their specials...usually 2 large subs, chips, 2 liter soda for around $22... Meals for days for 2 people.

Love jersey mikes, picture a subway, but where all the meat and cheese is freshly sliced and all hot sandwiches are made fresh to order. I always get the giant Italian, which is great. One of my favorite sub shops in Providence. The giant Italian is close to 12 dollars, but realistically can be eaten for 2 meals. Overall great spot!
(4)

One of the best chain sandwich shops around. Can't go wrong with the oil and spices! The hot sandwiches are good as well. But anything with Italian meats is gold

Big fan of Jersey Mike's. I have tried restaurants cheesesteaks around here and nothing comes close to what is in Philly. Jersey Mike's thank god specializes in cheesesteaks. They add some nice touches to the cheesesteak that put their mark on their sandwiches. I am talking about the Chipotle Cheesesteak with chipotle mayo and the Big Kahuna with jalaps and more cheese! Yes I know I am going to lambasted by my buddies in Philly for rating a chain so high but guys really we have nothing up here! You have to give it to Jersey Mike's for decent quality.
